Every Volunteer on shift is entitled to:volunteers setting up Indigenous Village

  • Free snacks and treats at the Volunteer Hub, where you can rest, refuel, and hang outduring your break and expand your circle of friends.
  • One free wristband good for the whole festival
  • Free Kidzfest t‑shirt  
  • Signed Confirmation that you volunteered “x” hours
  • Reference Letter upon request for volunteers who contribute a minimum of 8 hours
  • All volunteers who complete 4 hours or more are invited to the Appreciation Celebration to let loose and have some fun!
  • Ask your teachers about School Credit for hours volunteered

The 2024 “It’s for the Kidz” Volunteer Program development is funded by the Government of Canada’s Community Services Recovery Fund.

This beautiful land on which we gather, play and live, is the ancestral, traditional and unceded territory of the Syilx (Okanagan) peoples, who have been here for thousands of years.
